Brad is the Owner and President of Berger Bros. Camera, Video & Digital. He has been running the family business since he took over
the reigns in 1973. He prides himself in bringing Berger Bros. customer's the best selection of cameras and digital electronics.
Berger Bros. also plays a major role in the Amityville and
Syosset business communities giving back whenever the need arises.
Dedicated to the family business, he works almost 24/7, but always makes time for family on weekends.

Yvonne Berger |
Yvonne Berger is a professional photographer specializing in product, food, corporate and interiors. She has a vintage photo restoration business through Berger Brothers Camera for the past 10 years. With the new digital technology the need for information and education has grown so she started teaching digital imaging and now has many workshops and seminars that she gives at Berger Brothers School of Photography and Digital and is head instructor of Photography at The Art League of Long Island. She is also an instructor for Panasonic Digital Photo Academy and Creative Learning Solutions in NYC.
She is well versed on either Mac or PC in Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Elements 9.0, Lightroom 3.0 , printing and color management. She shoots with Nikon, Canon and Leica. She also teaches, digital workflow, color management and printing. Yvonne is available as a private tutor for any of the above or for hire for groups and clubs. Brett is the manager at our Amityville store. He has been in the retail business for 22 years. He has also been into photography for more than 17 years. Brett's
main area of expertise is in Sports Optics; such as Binoculars, Spotting Scopes, and Rifle Scopes. Brett is also our resident Telescope expert. His preferred cameras are the Pentax
ist DSLRs. You can see some of Brett's travel photography on display in our Amityville store.

Lisa |
Lisa is an award winning fine art photographer. As a nature lover her primary subjects are landscapes and nature. She specializes in black and white photography and develops and prints her images in the darkroom, using various formats such as: 35mm, 6x6, 6x7 and digital. She also freelances as a portrait and wedding photographer.
Working in our Mail Order and Internet Sales Department she sells all photographic equipment, underwater housings, digital cameras, video, and binoculars to both amateur and professional photographers.
She is also our contact person providing special pricing for all of our Corporate, Government and Institutional customers.

Specializing in action Sports Photography,
Dan has been shooting professionally for over 15 years. Dan's portfolio
contains striking images ranging from Professional & Youth sports
to Top Fuel Dragsters and Military Fighter Jets. His passion for
action and sport is evident in the way he shoots. He wants the
viewer to feel the speed, power, and intensity of the moment.
Wildlife and underwater photography are also specialties, and the serenity
of the outdoors is always a welcome change. Dan frequently covers the NY sports
teams, including the Yankees, Mets, Giants, Islanders, Rangers, and NJ Devils for various publications.

Andrzej is the manger of our Syosset store. Born in
Poland, he moved with his family to the United States in 1983. He has a
Masters Degree from Law School and International Trade
School. As a hobbyist photographer he enjoys photographing Ships and Planes, as well as family events and weddings. He speaks Polish, Russian, Czech, and of course English.

Richard's areas of expertise include: Digital

head of the Video Transfer Department and our Used Camera Department
- better known as the "antiquities department" As you

Alan has been a working professional photographer for more than three decades with fourteen years of experience in digital imaging. His client list includes many household names such as American Express, Greyhound, Pfizer and the Nasdaq Stock Market. His work has appeared in numerous publications around the world. He has been teaching digital imaging for five years and was recently named a 2010 Outstanding Educator by the Suffolk Association for Continuing Community Education. Victoria Podesta |
Victoria is The Class Coordinator for The Berger Brothers School of Digital Photography. She is responsible for conceiving and generating over 60+ hands-on workshops, courses and seminars for the school. In addition to coordinating the schools’ events, her duties include scheduling and student admissions.
Victoria graduated from Hofstra University in 2009 with a B.S. in film/television/video production. She is a freelance videographer with over 10 years of industry experience in the entertainment field. Although Victoria has worked on everything from weddings to indie films; she prefers working within the music industry. Victoria has been working as a jib technician for Black Dog Jib since 2007 where she’s worked on productions such as Paul McCartney at Citi Field, Gathering of The Vibes 2008-2011 and Paul Van Dyk in Central Park to name a few.
